I completely understand!!! I am counting down to Tex-Mex as well. I tried Julio's Barrio here in Calgary. The salsa's were the most disappointing thing I've ever tasted in my life.
I plan on wearing flip-flops also even if it's "cold."
did someone say Lupe's?! It's on...name the time and the day. :)
counting down myself; El Charrito here is passable only because everyone who works there speaks spanish as a first language, but it isn't really Tex-Mex as much as it's just kinda-Mex.
Lupe's queso fundido is what I really miss. But Chuy's is always a must-stop.
